Vision to Action – Cloud 2015

With substantial growth in cloud services, over 2.5 billion connected users, more than 1000 exabytes of internet traffic and 15 billion devices accessing cloud services by 2015, transforming datacenters to support this growth can be complex. To address the challenges facing IT and realize significant benefits of cloud computing, it’s essential that cloud solutions are open, interoperable and built on standards. Raejeanne Skillern, Director of Cloud Marketing for Intel will describe a multi-year vision for cloud and provide insights into relevant standards, next generation technologies that enable more secure, efficient, and simplified datacenters and best practices for deployment of interoperable cloud solutions.

 

About Speaker
Raejeanne Skillern is Director of Marketing for Cloud Computing within Intel’s Data Center Group. In this capacity, Raejeanne works closely with leading internet datacenters, original equipment manufacturers and cloud ecosystem providers to deliver optimized technology & solutions for private and public cloud use.
Raejeanne has been with Intel for 17 years, more than 10 of which have been with the Data Center Group managing teams in product, strategic and demand creation marketing. She also spent two years with Intel Online Services, a start up subsidiary of Intel Corporation, that provided co-location and managed hosting service, where she ran the Managed Services marketing team. Raejeanne holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Pepperdine University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Marylhurst University. Twitter: @RaejeanneS
