Ido Safruti is VP of Product Strategy and leads Cotendo’s overall product and cloud computing strategy. He has extensive cross-functional experience in networking, security and high performance systems. Prior to joining Cotendo, Ido held several IT management positions including General Manager at Metacafe, one of the largest short video sites in the world. In this role he was responsible for R&D and IT operations, and was in charge of building the company’s infrastructure to scale from a few million users to 50 million unique monthly users. Prior to that he served as Head of Software, Chief Scientist, and R&D Manager at various companies focused on high capacity network software, hardware, and security systems.
Ido has a MSc in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, and is a Talpiot graduate with a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
